A jug may not be the first item that comes to mind when you're setting up your home bar but it's certainly a useful one. Some cocktails need to be stirred rather than shaken, in which case a    straight-sided mixing jug comes in very handy.
We like to use smaller jugs for cocktail ingredients such as citrus juice and cream while their larger cousins come into their own in the summer for serving Pimm's or sangria.
