The Muddled collection is carefully curated. We sell only products we would be happy to use ourselves; in fact sometimes we find it difficult to part with our favourite pieces. Not all of these items are perfect. Some are, after all, almost 100 years old, but we think these imperfections are a key part of their history and beauty.

 

In an age of mass production and rampant consumerism, we believe that vintage is more relevant than ever. Not only do secondhand products have less environmental impact than new items, the quality is often superior and, of course, there’s the aesthetic aspect too. Our pieces are classic and timeless, helping to create a unique home, full of character and individuality.

At Muddled we believe in repurposing as well as reusing. For example, while you’re browsing our range of accessories you may find the odd glass biscuit barrel next to a French crystal ice bucket.

 

We’re Helen and Christen, friends and cocktail drinkers living in the far west of Cornwall. We love the ritual of making cocktails - the clink of ice in the bucket, the swirl of liquid in the mixing jug and the almost-alchemical process that creates a dazzlingly delicious drink from the simplest of ingredients.

And, of course, we like nothing more than quaffing our cocktails from beautiful glassware.
